Fall

The cold has arrived in the north east united states and it has slowed progress on the car to a crawl. OSS meteorologist predicts some nicer weather in the 60s for this week which might give us a chance to button up the rear end. New brakes, yes again, are being shipped out for the front and rear and a new custom 3 spoke steering wheel is in the works.

On other notes the OSS find of the week has been not been updated in quite a while but the harvest is here and soon there will be pictures of all our fall finds.

If you have not checked out the Sech Volt garage lately, Knechten’s, has slightly used 53 type 2 that he recently acquired. We were to told that finding a early bus was a rather hard thing to do in Finland(CORRECTION: the Sechs Volt crew is from Norway not Finland, oops), and since it seems that there are only 8 of them in the county I would be willing to guess that this is true. In the north east we do have some old busses laying in abandoned fields waiting for you to come by and pluck them out of the mud. Though they tend to be missing the bottom foot or three.
