Another carb option.

In our research we have found a few different options for our newest OSS project. Some are more of a pipe dream, while other are a bit more obtainable. We now present one of the prettiest pipe dreams that we have uncovered yet.

We have a few more options that we will reveal later on.

Lion GT 36hp Kit.

Here is an odd little contraption that is said to increase cruising speeds to 80-85 MPH range! Sadly we only have the post card advertisement and as of yet are still in the dark on if the kit came any where close to its claims. Perhaps one of these days the OSS will stubble upon one of these peculiar contraption.

Bored, never!

When ever it gets dark and cloudy here at the OSS we take a bit of time out of our busy day to look for that ray of sun shine. Today Mr. Okrasa has provided us with just such a moment wrapped up neatly with a little bow! Oh if we were not just poor little VW mechanics we to would build such a magnificent beast.

Suggestions?

We here at the OSS are looking for suggestions on 2bbl down draft carburetors that come in the 30-40mm sizes.

We know of the IDFs, IDAs, PPII and DCNFs. But we are wondering what other suggestions people on the interweb had.

Partner in crime.

The OSS has gone north of the border to seek advise and some help on a current engine build. This could be a start to our Secret Speed Project #3???

SSP #1 is on the back burner till the money comes around and SSP #2 is a very simple and easily completed project that has lost favor around these parts. So it may be time for a third project that has an outside moderator that can assist with the R & D and possibly get to Loring this year.
